Auto Create pop-up.

The Auto Create pop-up allows you to let the desk create typical presets, groups, build in effects and MAtricks. You have the option to clone one fixture to another (or several others). And finally you can export and import USITT ASCII shows. The menu on the right controls what section you are in. It looks like this:

There are five buttons that gives you access to the different areas in the Auto Create pop-up. The buttons are:
Presets: Creates presets according to your settings.
Groups: Creates groups based on your selections.
Clone: Lets you clone two or more fixtures.
Effects & MAtricks: Creates build-in effects, import/export effects and creates default MAtricks.
USITT ASCII Show File: Allows you to import and export ASCII show files.
Presets.
When “Presets” is chosen in the menu at the right you have the option to make different presets. This is the “Auto Create Presets” screen:

To create presets you need to select the fixture type you want to include. You select them by right-clicking in the “Select” column in the list of available fixture types.
If you don’t select any fixture types and still try to create presets you get this kind reminder:

AutoCreate Presets New:
When you have made your selection, you can press this button and the desk will create new presets according to your preset preferences. This will add new presets to the already exciting ones (if any).
AutoCreate Presets Merge:
This will create presets that merge into exciting presets, and create new ones of they don’t exists.
Delete Presets:
This button deletes all the presets for the selected type(s). This is both the ones you have made manually and the ones you have made using AutoCreate.

Create Dimmer Presets:
This button auto crates dimmer presets with the interval selected. On the button on the right (the option is 5, 10, 20 or 25 percent). The dimmer presets are made for all fixture types.
Groups.
When “Groups” is chosen in the menu at the right you have the option to create different groups. This is the “Auto Create Groups” screen:

Here you have the option to create groups for all or selected fixtures. Just like presets you need to select the fixtures of which you want to create the groups.
You have two different selection categories. On the top left of the screen you can select different fixture types. On the lower left side of the screen you can select entire fixture layers and make groups out of these.
Create Groups All/Odd/Even only:
When you have selected fixtures you can choose to use this button. This will create groups that divide the selected fixtures in groups of All, Odd and Even for each of the selected fixture types.
Create single Groups only:
This button will create groups that contain a single fixture (one group per selected fixture).
Clone.
When “Clone” is chosen in the menu at the right you have the option to clone one or several fixtures.

Selecting fixtures:
To clone fixtures you need to select them. This is done in the regular way of selecting fixtures (to your programmer) using the keypad and the ENTER key.
When you have selected either the fixture(s) you are cloning from or to then you press the relevant “Take Selection” button. Then you need to clear your selection and make a new selection and press the “Take Selection” button.
When you have the correct selection you can press the “Start Cloning” button. This clones the fixtures and turns every active executor off!.
The following is a short explanation of the different kinds of possible selections.

This is simple 1 to 1 cloning.
Everywhere the fixture in the left column is represented (every sequence, preset, group etc.) the fixture in the right column will have the exact same values.

This is more complex cloning. One fixture clones to two (or more) fixtures.
Everywhere the fixture in the left column is represented (every sequence, preset, group etc.) the fixtures in the right column will have the exact same values.

This is a variant of 1 to 1 cloning. Each fixture on the left column will clone to the corresponding fixture in the right column. This is 1 to 1 cloning but for more fixtures at the same time.

Effects & MAtricks.
When “Effects & MAtricks” is chosen in the menu at the right you have the option to create build in effects and MAtricks. You can also import and export effects.

Create Build-In Default Effects:
This will create 36 build in effects. This is basic effects that give you a selection of moving effects, color effects, gobo effects etc.
Import Effects:
This button gives you the option to load previously stored effects from floppy or USB.
Export Effects:
This allows you to store all your effects to floppy or USB. Then you can later load them in to a different show or an entire different desk.
Create Build-In Default MAtricks:
This will create the MAtricks pool based on the default settings.
USITT ASCII Show File.
When “USITT ASCII Show File” is chosen in the menu at the right you have the option to import and export USITT ASCII shows.

Import Show File USITT ASCII Format:
To import a ASCII show you basically just need a show file called “show.alq”. This can be on a floppy disk or an USB key. When the disk loads the show it creates a new show. It is recommended to save it as “AsciiShow”.
Export Show File USITT ASCII Format:
Pressing this button exports the current show as a USITT ASCII show. Following the guidelines from USITT.
Closing the pop-up.
To close the Auto Create Pop-up you need to press the blue cross in the upper right corner.
