Sequence Pool.

The sequence pool contains all the sequences in the show. To use the sequences you need to assign them to an executor. The main window looks like this:

The grandMA can store up to 999 different sequences. You can assign any name to your sequence (see below for information on how to change the sequence name).

Sequence button.

The button contains some information.

In the upper right corner you see the sequence number. In the upper left corner the number tells you how many executors the sequence is assigned to (if it’s not assigned to any, the area is empty). In the top middle there is a “T” if the sequence is a “Tracking” sequence.
In the middle you’ll see the name of the Seq.(read below for information on how to change the name).

Creating a sequence.

Storing a sequence is quite simple. Press the STORE button followed by the button. Instead of pressing the button directly you can press STORE SEQUENCE NUMBER ENTER.

If you store something (from the programmer) to an empty executor button, the desk automatically creates a new sequence.

Assign a name to a sequence ("Label"):

Press ASSIGN ASSIGN followed by the sequence button. Then you get theEnter New Labelpop-up:

Now you can type a new name followed by the OK button or the ENTER (on desk or keyboard).

Instead of pressing the group button directly you can use this command: ASSIGN ASSIGN SEQUENCE NUMBER ENTER. This also brings up theEnter New Labelpop-up.

Moving a sequence button:

If you want to move a sequence button you can press MOVE followed by the button and then its new location. You can also use a command like this MOVE SEQUENCE NUMBER AT SEQUENCE NUMBER ENTER. This can be combined with many different commands (THRU, +, - etc.).

If you use the MOVE command and press, hold and drag the button to its new position you are still in themovemode (the light above the button is on).

Copying a sequence button:

This is the way to actually copy the sequence and obtain two different versions of your sequence. This differs from copying Executers, where you obtain two different executers that then holds THE SAME SEQUENCE assignment

If you want to Copy a sequence button you can press COPY followed by the button and then its new location. You can also use a command like this COPY SEQUENCE NUMBER AT SEQUENCE NUMBER ENTER. This can be combined with many different commands (THRU, +, - etc.).

Inserting a sequence button:

If you want to insert a sequence button you can press MOVE MOVE followed by the button and then its new inserted position. You can also use a command like this MOVE MOVE SEQUENCE NUMBER AT SEQUENCE NUMBER ENTER. This can be combined with many different commands (THRU, +, - etc.).

If you use the MOVE MOVE command and press, hold and drag the button to its new inserted position you are still in theinsertmode (the light above the move button is flashing).

Deleting a sequence button:

You can delete a sequence button simply by pressing DELETE followed by pressing on the relevant button. Or you can use this command: DELETE SEQUENCE NUMBER ENTER. This can of course be combined with a vast variety of commands (THRU, +, - etc.).

Deleting the window:

If you want to delete the entire Sequence Pool Window you can right-click on theSequheadline. You can also press EDIT followed by theSequheadline. When you do you are presented with this pop-up:

And of course it gives you the option to delete or keep the window.
