- For each command the time between steps where the Macro was recorded is displayed in the DELAY column.
These times can be edited or ignored for playback purposes.
Pressing Add Line will insert a step in front of the chosen position. Now you can enter one or two commands (seperated by semi-colon). If you want to use a delay time when performing a command, click in the cell, enter a time using the keyboard and confirm with ENTER.
To delete a command, select one of the lines and press Delete Line(s).
To modify a command, select one and press Edit Line. Now you can enter a new command.
If you want to modify the delay time, click into the cell, enter a different time using the keyboard and confirm with ENTER.
Pressing Edit Macro Name will open the Edit Name window. Now you can enter a new name using the keyboard and confirm this with ENTER.
If the Timed Macro key is switched on, the calls of this Macro will be executed with the set delay times. Pressing this key once will switch it to Macro not Timed. In the sheet, the delay times will be displayed on a dark background, and the Macro will be executed without delay times.
Important Tipps
If you experience any problems with the execution of a Macro you should use timing and play around with the delay times. Here is an example:
In the first step this Macro sets channel 1 at 100% and parks the channel in the second step. If you playback this Macro you will notice that the channel will be selected but it will be parked at 0%. This happens because the console needs to process the command "AT Full". This processing takes longer than it takes to park the channel. If you change the Macro to "TIMED" and set a delay time of 0.2 seconds in the first step, it works like it should.
