Block / Unblock

you can use the block / unblock commands in tracking sequenses:

/!\ Block / Unblock does not have any dedicated hardkey, you need to use Quickeys to access these commands.

1.)

Without any selection (Clear has been pressed at least once)

Block CUE x

all /!\ values of the cue will be blocked, which means they will be stored in the cue as hard values or presets even if they did not change according to the cue before. this is helpful for storing a black out or keeping the look of important cues.

If anything is selected the command will only block selected fixtures/Channels

Unblock CUE x

will transfer a blocked cue or a cue containing blocked values or presets into a tracking cue.

Same rules as above, if any selection is present

2.)

Block / Unblock SEQUENCE x

will do the same to the entire sequence. it will make a tracking sequence look like "non tracking" but /!\ you are still working in the tracking mode.

3.) you will find the block / unblock command as quickey as well as by right clicking a cell selection in the track sheet. here the "tracking sheet options" window opens and allows you to block / unblock:

Selection the selected cells,
All Channels for selected Cues (it actually means all values of these cues, not only the channel values),
Complete the whole sequence, or
Selected Channel for all Cues.

►It is worth noting that the Block/Unblock Commands are directly related to your AT filter and your programmer. Information in the programmer will inhibit the block/unblock function. Having your AT filter set will limit the attributes that are blocked/unblocked.
